Walking, biking, yoga and MBT skills all in one weekend

A fantastic weekend in Scotland’s great outdoors recently included a bike and hike to the summit of the Munro Beinn Dearg, near Blair Atholl (thanks to the Mighty Vickster for the loan of her gorgeous mountain bike), a Yoga for Walkers session with Abby at the fabbie Beallich yoga and mountaineering centre in the Cairngorm National Park (an article will be published in TGO magazine early next year) and a Scottish Cycling mountain bike skills course led by qualified MBLA tutor Jon from Scotland’s National Outdoor Training Centre Glenmore Lodge (I’ll be writing more about this in my blog soon). In the meantime here are a few pics and even some video!

Part 1: Where’s FionaOutdoors? Oh there she is… and she’s giggling!

Part 2: Has the G-Force got so much slower? Or is FionaOutdoors suddenly so much faster?

Mountain bike giggles Part 2

I seem to improve my speed and confidence from the first video to the second video. Or else the G-Force, in front of me, is going much slower in the second video. It doesn’t really seem to matter as you can hear me giggling as I pass the MBLA tutor Jon who is filming the pair of us on the Glenmore estate near Aviemore. It was a a lot of fun!
