Blogging for a new client

Written by Fiona June 02 2014

Blogging is a large part of my freelance writing these days. Many people ask how this works. I write blogs or articles for the websites of clients. It could be that it’s a retailer, a holiday tour company or a tourism group.

images-17Blogs offer a number of benefits including:

  • Fresh, updated content, which the search engines like
  • Something extra for visitors to the website
  • A more professional and caring feel and look for website.

Lots of companies want a regularly updated blog but they do not have the time, energy or expertise to write it. So they ask me to keep their blog/website updated with news, features, information and reviews.

I love the this growing area of my work and I enjoy the challenge of coming up with new ideas and making sure the client’s blog is updated with good quality content.

Here are a few blogs that I have written for them:

Triathlete Finlay McAndrew is set to go pro

Water skiing youngsters going from strength to strength

Review of The Grid foam roller

Please do ask if you would like me to Ghost Blog for your company.
