Edinburgh Moonwalk calling for volunteers

Written by Fiona May 21 2013

The Moonwalk Edinburgh 2013 is looking for volunteers. This huge mass participation event on June 8 to 9, which raises funds for breast cancer charities, needs an army of volunteers to support the many thousand walkers.

get-attachment-15Whatever your reasons for offering some volunteer help, the organisers of Moonwalk Edinburgh are keen to hear form you.  Maybe you’re looking for some unique volunteering events experience, or you fancy a team-building challenge with a difference? Individuals, small or large groups are all welcome to volunteer.

There are different roles to choose from including: Route marshals, directional team, awarding medals to walkers, cycle support, helping in the WalkWear shop, handing out water plus many more.

Whether you are coming alone or with a group of friends we have a role to suit everybody!

Volunteers are important

Volunteers are an essential part of the Walk the Walk team and without them the MoonWalks simply could not happen. Donating your time to a charitable cause, you’ll meet some fabulous people and have an amazing weekend while helping to raise millions of pounds for vital breast cancer causes.
