Two Munros for the price of three!
It happens like that sometimes. You tick off two Munro summits but because it is an out-and-back route you end up walking back over Munro one to return to the start. Last weekend, the G-Force and I headed to Fort William and then on to Fersit for a van-camp overnight.
We walked Stob a’Choire Mheadhoin and Stob Coire Easain. See WalkHighlands for a suggested route. After posting my adventure on Facebook a friend mentioned there is a lower level route back to the start from the second Munro. This would cut out the “third” Munro summit of the day.
However, we were lucky with the weather and didn’t mind the “two Munros for the price of three” outing.
Here is my Munro bagging adventure in photos.

I have walked 204 Munros in my first round. There are 282 Munros in total in Scotland.
