Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports is sponsoring the Women’s Adventure Expo, which takes place in Bristol in October.
Now in its second year, the Expo celebrates women’s adventure and encourages women to claim their “outdoor equality” and support each other’s dreams of daring adventure.
The 2016 line-up of Britain’s top adventurers will be headlined by Sarah Outen, Anna McNuff, Mollie Hughes and Lois Pryce.
Workshops include Sharing Your Adventure, Why We Can’t Live Without Adventure and Cycleogical; plus motivational topics, such as Never Give Up and The First Steps.
Mark Brigham, of Ellis Brigham, said: “We’re very conscious how easy it is to be male-centric in the outdoor and adventure sector and are working hard to work with brands who take women seriously.
“Shrinking and pinking it doesn’t cut it. When visiting our stores, we want women to feel confident that they will be given expert advice and a good choice of women’s specific kit.”
