I wear a trisuit for every swimming session, as well as when racing in triathlons, so I have tried many different brands ove rthe last 12 or so years. I find trisuits much more comfortable than conventional swimming costumes and they cover more bare skin!

On test: Women’s 2XU Perform Trisuit
I have been testing the size small 2XU Perform Trisuit. I am usually a UK10 and I am about 5ft 8in. I have a shorter body relative to my legs. I found the 2XU trisuit fits very well. It’s almost a perfect fit actually.
The leg length is nice, too. I prefer a longer style leg for looks as well as comfort. I hate trisuits that ride up the thigh. This suit stays in place and gives great coverage.
I have not found any places that rub on my skin. Sometimes the armholes rub but not with the 2XU suit. From the moment I put it on, and throughout my swim sets, it felt super comfortable.
The leg hems are quite wide and comfortable (like cycle shorts) and there is a neat fabric cover for the top of the zip to stop it catching your skin.

It also looks sleek, in that, it sucks in all the areas that you might hope to suck in, such as waist and thighs. It does not have a built-in bra, so you have to wear a sports bra underneath if you need the support.
I found that with the suit on and zipped up I had no need for a bra but if I was racing I would wear a crop top sports bra as well as the suit.
The three back pockets are small but might be fine for carrying a few essentials such as gels.
The fabric feels thicker than many trisuits and of really good quality. I fely as though the suit was more supportive than others I’ve worn in the leg and glutes area, but I have no idea whether it offers better endurance benefits. It’s difficult to tell.
I can imagine this suit lasting longer than others. There are no see-through issues, as I have found with many trisuits.
The chamois insert is adequate for sprint or Olympic distance triathlons. It’s not too bulky but also not too flimsy.
Overall this is a superb trisuit. If I could change anything I might prefer a sports bra built in and a back zip rather than one at the front. At £105, it’s not the cheapest nor the most expensive and for the quality I’d say it’s an okay price.
