Great accessories for motorhomes

Record sales of motorhomes in the UK in recent years reveals just how popular it now is to holiday on four wheels. With so many people catching on to the trend, this article showcases some of the best accessories for your motorhome or campervan.

Bike rack

Motorhomes are great for exploring the country or further afield, but once you get to where you are staying there is no better way to explore than on a bicycle. In the UK there are lots of cycle paths that allow you to explore the countryside, so make sure you add a bike rack to your list of motorhome accessories so you can take bicycles along with you. Awings

Everything about living in a motorhome is about managing space. The smaller the motorhome, the more critical this is, which is why awnings are so popular. These can vary in size from something that is little more than a gazebo, offering a shaded area for sitting outside or storing bicycles, to the provision of extra rooms so that more people can come along on your motorhome trip and sleep in more comfort than trying to shoe-horn them inside the main van

Outdoor Furniture

If it’s nice and sunny you don’t want to spend your time inside the motorhome, but equally, if you want to put your feet up you might not want to go far. The smaller the motor home the more acute this becomes. This royal president is super comfy as it come with extra padding!

Barbecue

Your motorhome may well be fitted with a fully-equipped kitchen, but nothing quite says holiday like an outdoor barbecue. You can even buy disposable ones so you don’t need to find somewhere to store it throughout the rest of your holiday or choose a barbecue with a longer shelf life but easy portability, such as the Campingaz party grill.

Picnic bag

While many motorhome and campervan owners enjoy being able to cook  meals wherever they stop, this form of transport also allows for choosing some great walking routes and picnic spots. A picnic is a great excuse to get out and explore the new landscape that surrounds you. The Brunner Picpack is perfect with four cutlery sets, a cheese knife, four plates, a wooden breadboard, four acrylic glasses, four table napkins, a lockable litter-bag and salt and pepper shakers.
