Tickets on sale for 2018 UK Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour
The 2018 UK and Ireland Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to the UK with Scotland first on the programme in January.
Starting in Edinburgh on January 13, the exciting tour then visits Glasgow on the 14th and Inverness from January 31 to February 1. Stirling is next on February 2 followed by Pitlochry on February 3 before the tour heads to England, Wales and Ireland.
This year’s tour, which will be shown more than 100 times in the UK alone, features two different collections of new adventure films, starring the world’s top explorers on incredible journeys in wild and remote parts of the world.
Tour director Nell Teasdale said: “UK and Irish audiences have a huge passion for adventure, so we’re delighted to be able to share these amazing films and their intrepid characters with wider audiences and at more venues than ever before.
“We guarantee the tour will inspire viewers to start planning their own outdoor adventures too.”
The films are chosen from hundreds that were entered into the prestigious Banff Mountain Film Festival, which takes place every year in the Canadian Rockies.
