I have teamed up with Kennedy Wild Food to give away a nest box during the annual National Nest Box Week (NNBW).
The aim of NNBW – from February 4 to 21 – is to encourage people to put up nest boxes in their local area so as to promote and enhance biodiversity and conservation of Britain’s breeding birds and wildlife.
Whether you’re a family with space for a box in your garden, a school teacher, a member of a local wildlife group, or you belong to a bird club and could organise a work party, National Nest Box Week gives you the chance to contribute to the conservation effort in the UK.
Having a nest box also offers the pleasure of being able to observe breeding birds that are attracted to your garden.
