Can CBD really improve your health?

It feels like within the space of a few years, CBD has become a popular product within the UK. In such a short space of time, the CBD market has grown immensely, resulting in the rise of online retailers and high street shops stocking not only natural CBD, but products which contain the molecule as well.

There are a diverse range of reasons as to why people take CBD, but the majority of this is down to their own research. CBD doesn’t have a huge amount of scientific evidence behind it, which has left many people with the same negative views they have always had.

Once you complete your own research into the potential benefits of CBD, you can start to understand why people take it, but there are still a large number of people who have their doubts about the industry as a whole. As part of a recent campaign, Truverra wanted to correct some of the most common myths surrounding CBD and try to educate the wider public on its benefits.

Their campaign looked at some of the claimed health benefits CBD can have, which come as a surprise to some people. Here are some of the benefits:

Boosting energy and the immune system

We often find ourselves feeling slightly fatigued or lacking in energy, which can sometimes be linked to a low immune system. There are many foods and remedies that it’s claimed can boost your immune system, including eating citrus fruits, yogurt and drinking green tea. Although these can have a good impact on your energy levels and immune system, there are also supplements such as Liposomal CBD + vitamin C, which are said to have the same benefits.

Help to ease migraines

For anyone who suffers from migraines, you’ll know how painful and distracting they can be. Many people resort to over-the-counter medication, or advice from their GP. Not everyone feels comfortable taking medication and often look for more natural forms of relief. Auridiol is a CBD supplement that has been known to reduce pain, including the symptoms of migraines.

Improving skin problems

From dry skin to acne, it’s more than likely you’ve experienced one, if not both of these. Maintaining a daily skin care routine of face washes, moisturisers and other cosmetic products should help, but some people have sensitive skin which doesn’t take well to these products. Two of the most common skin conditions are acne and psoriasis, which can be helped by using certain CBD creams, such as Dermafortis and Dermaquet.

Menopause matters

Some women believe that CBD oil can help to relieve a few of the many symptoms of menopause, such as anxiety, sleeplessness, mood swings, migraines, itchy skin and joint pain.

When conducting your own research into CBD and using reliable sources, you can start to understand the true benefits of it and why so many people resort to its products. From boosting your immune system to relieving the symptoms of migraines and chronic pain. Could you see yourself using CBD in the future?
