Review: CimAlp Aiguines trail skirt
I love a skort, as many people already know. This is a lightweight skirt and with a nice design. The sizes are, however, small (go up size on what you would normally buy).
This is a skort with shorter shorts for people who prefer this style. The skirt and shorts are a bit short for my liking as I prefer a bit more coverage but I still like this product.
The mesh shorts are very breathable and comfortable. Although shorter than I normally wear they do not ride up when running.
The outer skirt is made of a light and floaty fabric that is both easy to run in and offers a flattering look. The fabric has Cimaflex technology, which means it is stretchy, breathable and wicking.
The only issue with the skirt is that it is very short at the back. You need a very neat bottom for proper coverage, although there are undershorts so it doesn’t really matter.
The flatlock seams add to the comfort of wearing this trail running skirt.
The waistband pockets are really useful for bits and pieces like gels and, perhaps, a small water bottle. The zipped rear pocket is perfect for keeping keys safe.
I am not so sure about he usefulness of the two small side pockets on the under shorts. What would you put in these as they are quite small?
Personally, I’d prefer a zipped pocket that was big enough for a smart phone.
Overall, it’s a lovely looking running skirt and made for people with a love of shorter shorts and skirts. The lightweight fabric is great and many of the pockets are useful.
