The United Arab Emirates are frequently associated with the tall buildings in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. However, those who are willing to venture outside the glamorous contemporary metropolises will be rewarded with a wealth of natural beauty, from breathtaking coastline and sand dunes to islands, hills and mountains. We have picked some of the most spectacular places for you to go with your family without cutting into your budget too much.

Before planning a family trip to the UAE, you need to take care of transportation. Renting a car in the UAE for a family trip is not only a convenient but also a budget-friendly way to travel. You will be able to save on transportation costs, as renting a car will cost you much less than paying for cabs or sightseeing services. Moreover, you can in advance enter the query rent a car no deposit in Google and choose a model that meets your needs.

Having a car allows you to visit not only the tourist places, but also to discover new corners of the country, which are not included in the standard itinerary. For a family trip it is better to select a roomy vehicle such as an SUV Nissan patrol, this way you feel free to travel anywhere with comfort in your trip to the UAE.

Fujairah

What could be more enjoyable than a relaxing beach vacation in Fujairah? While you relax and soak up the sun on warm beach sands, kids can play in the Gulf of Oman’s crystal-clear waters.

One of the top diving locations in the UAE is considered to be here. Also take your family to Snoopy Island. It’s not too difficult to go to Fujairah by car. Wuraia, the only mountain range in the UAE that is under World Wildlife Fund protection, is also a must-see.

You can visit the oldest still-operational mosque in the nation and enjoy a picnic by a waterfall.

Al Ain

The city of Al Ain, considered one of the most beautiful regions in the UAE, is home to dunes, date plantations and historic forts. Your kids will be entertained by counting all the camels as you go over the wonderful local roads.

There are many natural springs, oasis and lush flora in this Arabian paradise. The peak of Jebel Hafit will be the high point of your journey. Ride the winding mountain roads up to 1250m to take in the breathtaking views of the dunes. Another attraction is the neighbourhood zoo.

Dibba

This is another picturesque eastern coastline of the UAE that combines high mountain ranges and seascapes, where you can find many suitable places for a picnic or for snorkelling.

Head out on a boat cruise to the centre of the Musandam Peninsula. From there, you can go for a swim in the clear water or take the family out to explore new mountain peaks.

However, don’t forget to bring your passport, as part of Dibba is located in the Gulf of Oman, which you will need documents in order to cross.

Livva

Livva is an ideal place for holidays with children. Here there are many activities and attractions including the water park “Yas Waterworld”, where you can enjoy slides and pools of varying difficulty.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi theme park will also be of interest to both children and their parents thanks to its rides and shows.

In conclusion, UAE is an amazing country with plenty on offer for families outside of the usual destinations.
