Fiona Russell, better known as Fiona Outdoors, is a well-respected journalist. She has enjoyed a long career, first in many of Scotland’s newspaper offices and then, for the last 17 years, as a freelancer. She writes for a wide range of publications, both print and on-line. She is also an accomplished copywriter. She lives with her climber, kayaker husband in the Scottish Highlands and has a wonderful grown-up daughter.
