Runners: Are you faking it or growing it?

I’ll confess I wasn’t too keen on the moustache madness of last Movember. Men with moustaches brought back yukky memories of the seedy-looking seventies trend (and a rubbish boyfriend in the 90s). But sometimes you have to go with the, er, Mo – and the one thing I do like about the Movember campaign is the opportunity for a winter 5k charity run.
So, will you be faking it, or growing a real one this November?

The event organisers, Men’s Health, are expecting to see hundreds of Mo’ Brothers and Mo’ Sistas out on the course, following in the foot steps of the other UK Mo runs in London, Milton Keynes, Dublin, as well as an Oz run in Melbourne.
The charity running campaign that has spread like body hair!
You have to love Dave Krangel, Mo Running Race Director, for his enthusiastic quote about Mo running fever. He says: “Mo running has spread like facial hair, boldly growing at an unexpected pace.”
Krangel added: “As the Mo Running community is building we want you to join us, get in the Mo Running spirit, spread the word and start calling yourself a Mo Runner. It’s all about fun, getting together with friends, family and work colleagues whilst supporting a great cause.”
