Vote for your favourite film: Part 2

Written by Fiona February 11 2013

Second, but no means least, was the call out for votes in the Fort William Mountain Festival Film Competition. This time I will tell you who I voted for! The film is quirky and fun and it showcases the amazing variety of outdoors pursuits on offer in Scotland. It also shows some mazing stunt bike trickery by The Clan.

292005_168830533193982_8104633_nThe short film is called The Van and The Clan and is a collaboration between Big Tree Campervans and Duncan Shaw and Ricky Crompton of The Clan. And the latest news is that film won enough votes to be shortlisted to win prizes in the festival from Feb 21 to 24, 2013

Big Tree were asked to enter the film and to make it on to the shortlist and they needed to get as many ‘likes’ on the Fort William Mountain Festival Film Competition facebook page as possible to make it on to the top three judging panel list.

Simon, of Big tree, says: “It’s an honour to have been asked to submit our film and we’re very excited to find out that we have been short-listed. It’s thanks to all our Facebook fans and more and we are thrilled that our film has made it to the festival judges.

“The film shows  some fun adventure shots filmed in beautiful Scotland, and has a cameo appearance by one of the (younger) Big Tree Campervans team! We’re delighted by how well the film has been received. “
