There are many reasons to visit the Pembrokeshire Coast in Wales. Here are a few.

Coastal walks

One of the biggest attractions when it comes to Pembrokeshire is the 186 miles of national trail coastal paths. There’s plenty here for you to explore and something to suit all abilities so you won’t find yourself getting bored.

If you were to do it all in one go it takes on average 10 to 15 days. That’s two weeks of great walking!

Activities for all

Watersports are a firm favourite with locals and you’ll often find some surfers or keen sailors out on the water. Many activity providers offer a range of activities including water sports, walking, horse riding, golfing, mountain biking and paragliding.

Beautiful beaches

When it comes to beautiful beaches in Pembrokeshire you’re spoilt for choice. There are countless options to suit everyone whether it’s for waters sports, dog walking, spending a day relaxing or doing some coastal walking/exploring. Some top beaches include Little Haven, Broad Haven, Dale Beach and Newgale Beach.

Some of the best beaches are also a little hidden away so it’s worth taking the time to properly explore and find them. In the summer months you’ll often find some of the bigger more popular beaches can get quite busy, so it’s worth getting there early or trying to find the smaller hidden gems to make the most of them.

It won’t break the bank

Your trip to Pembrokeshire can be an affordable staycation. There’s something in the area to suit all budgets, from hostels such as YHA, air bnb, apartments with sea views and luxury hotels. If you’re visiting in the summer months then camping is a good option, too.
