Why Paros Island in Greece is a must-visit

Paros is a Greek island located in the central Aegean Sea. Covering on an area of 165km2, the round, pear-shaped island is part of the 220 islands that make up the Cyclades. The island is famous for not just its scenic beauty and lovely beaches but also its  architecture. The island also offers visitors a vibrant nightlife. All of these combined make Paros a must-visit the island.

Where to stay on Paros

There is a range of different types of accommodation available all over the island, but most of the activities are based in Parikia and Naousa so these are good places to look for somewhere to stay while on holiday.

Chrissi Akti is host to the Windsurfing World Championship, and Ai Yannis/Monastiri hosts the local park’s annual festival from June-September.

Pretty villages and towns offer the chance for relaxation and a vibrant night life.
