Best jobs for travellers

Being able to travel around the world while you make money can be a dream come true if you know where to start. Freelance writing jobs online  and web development jobs are two of the many jobs that allow you to travel from one place to another while you earn. There are also some other jobs that give you traveling privileges but you may not always have control over where you visit or when you have to travel.

1. Freelance writing

As a freelance writer, you’ll have amazing work flexibility. Since writing can be done remotely, you can work from home, or from the other end of the world during a vacation. You will need access to good wifi, or the ability to make use of 4G as part of a phone plan, bu i is possible to earn as a freelance writer while also travelling.

However, it is important to note that you’re not going to start making millions immediately. Indeed, the chances are you’ll never make millions as this is a competitive marketplace but I have found I can earn adequately as a freelancer and also travel.

You need to start by learning how to be a good quality writer. Do a qualification in journalism as a basic necessity. You can then earn money by pitching ideas for articles to newspapers and website or start your own website – and build up the traffic – so that you can earn money by charging other people to write on your site.

2. Web development

Web developers are on the list of the highest jobs in demand for 2019. However, the money you’ll make from being a programmer is much more than what you’ll make from being a writer. As a programmer, you can either attach yourself to a company and get paid monthly or you can freelance.

Some web developers freelance and work with a company at the same time. When they’ve gathered enough resources and built a large client base, they leave the company and focus on freelancing.

With the money you make from programming and the flexibility that comes with freelancing, you can travel around the world. You will need access to high speed wifi or 4G to work as you travel but this is becoming increasingly available worldwide.

3. Airline pilot

Commercial airline pilots are among the highest paid workers in the world. The job gives you an opportunity to travel from one place to another during and after assignments. When you’re on duty, you can save most of your earnings because the airline will provide you with basic amenities.

When you’re off duty, you’ll have enough money to travel to anywhere you like for a vacation. In many case, you’ll earn air miles or discounts for flights and travel from your own company, too.

4. Freelance photography

If you have the photo-taking skills, you can start getting paid for what you love. Keep in mind that it’s not going to be easy to become a popular freelance photographer who gets paid huge sums for pictures. However, if you’re consistent and persistent, you’ll achieve it.

The money you make from your pictures of exotic places and things can be used to fund your journey to more exotic places. Consider adding your best photos to professional databases to earn some money, set up your own website and sell photos and you can also ry to sell your photos to newspapers and magazines.

5. Offer homework help online

This is another way to earn good money and travel around the world at the same time. All you need is a good website and social media presence to advertise your services. There are millions of students who need help with their essays, or science homework.

You’ll make enough money from it and you’ll have the opportunity to travel anytime you want. This type of travelling work allows you to do homework for students from any part of the world, again as long as you have wifi.

6 Seasonal work

You could also travel in a more traditional way and work as you go, such as picking grapes or fruit, working on farms and ranches or picking up bar or waitressing work. As long as you aim to live and eat cheaply, you should find enough casual labour to pay for an extended overseas trip.
