Backpacking around Europe is one of the most amazing adventures you can go on. This article will reveal three of the best European cities to visit.

1. Live It Up in London

Samuel Johnson once said, “If you’re tired of London, you’re tired of life.”

This motto rings true, as there are so many things to explore in London.

London has something for everyone, from history buffs to theatre lovers to party-goers.

Many of the museums in London are free and open to the public. You can spend hours getting lost in The British Museum.

Head over to Brick Lane to enjoy some Indian food and street art.

London has great public transportation so there’s no need to rent an expensive cab. You can simply buy an Oyster card to gain access to the bus and tube systems. Then you top it off throughout the trip as you need to.

2. Prance Around Paris

Ah, the city of love. Paris a great place to immerse yourself in European culture.

You can visit the Mona Lisa in The Louvre, take a boat ride down The Seine, or enjoy a baguette in one of its many cafes.

Paris’ winding streets and extensive shops are sure to keep you entertained during your stay.

Book lovers should visit Shakespeare and Co, a famous bookstore that’s been around for hundreds of years.

If you want a souvenir that will freeze your time in Europe, head to Sacre Couer and let an artist draw a portrait of you under the Parisian sun.

3. Feel Alive in Amsterdam

You should head to Amsterdam when you’re ready to kick back and relax.

Amsterdam is a very friendly city. People greet you as they glide down one of the many canals on a boat.

It’s also a healthy city – be ready to grab a bike to fit in with the locals.

Here you can explore art at the Van Gogh museum. You can also learn about the history of the area on an Anne Frank walking tour. You can even explore the house the young girl lived in.

Because events are always popping up, be sure to check things to do this weekend.

Now You Know the Best European Cities to Visit

Europe is ready to embrace you on your backpacking adventure.

This list of best European cities to visit should give you a nice framework to start planning your trip.

Don’t be afraid to be a tourist and go to all of the common attractions, after all, you might only get one European vacation. It’s also good to dive deeper and look for spots off the beaten path that are favourites among locals.
