Mostly, people long to visit famous cities for a weekend break or a holiday because they have heard them being praised of highly reviewed. Taking a photo in these cities and having them on your social media platforms will attract admiration from your peers and followers. In turn, it propagates love and praise for the destinations.

Why should you choose these destinations?

Everyone will have their preferred destination based on their experiences, expectations and needs. You will most likely choose a destination where you can create memories, grow and learn about different cultures that will interest you. 

Travelling to these popular cities will likely be expensive and its preparation will be time consuming.

However, if you are working to a tighter budget, you can choose some of these less well known yet beautiful destinations that will give you a similar or better experience. However, you need to prepare the necessary documentation and finances to avoid any inconveniences that may arise.

Some countries will also need you to take a test to ensure you understand their culture and traditions. Therefore, be careful with your choices and choose accordingly.
