A study has discovered the healthiest capital city in Europe. Andorra la Vella in Andorra has been rated as the capital of health in the research carried out by PUMA in partnership with independent data collection.
The study analysed five variables, including the number of gyms, number of healthy restaurants, water quality, air pollution and total hours of sun light per year.
The analysis looked at 52 European capitals, with some omitted due to a lack of available data.
Both the number of gyms and the number of healthy restaurants have been scaled appropriately by population size to give a fair result.
