2 guys, 2 bikes, 4 feet, 3 peaks = 1200 miles for charity

Written by Fiona June 09 2010

Some people set off to cycle Land’s End to John O’Groats (or vice versa). Some people set off to climb to the top of Britain’s three highest peaks. Now two guys are going to combine the two big challenges into their own truly epic charity fund raiser.

Two blokes, 2 bikes, 3 peaks and 1200 mmiles

2 bikes, 3 peaks and 1200 miles is the sub-title of the mega charity adventure being undertaken by physical education instructors Chris Seals  and Chris Bawden. They will start the  gruelling  expedition cycling from John o Groats to Land’s End. As if that was not enough of an endurance test, en route they will stop to climb Mount Snowdon, Scafell and Ben Nevis!

The challenge, over 10 days from June 10 to June 20, is in aid of Help for Heroes. If you’d like to support the challenge with a donation then check out the charity link. The guys are also hoping that walkers/cyclists will be keen to join them for sections of their mammoth cycle/walk. Check out their website to find out where they’ll be and when.
