Two weeks done… just 6 months more training to go

Written by Fiona January 30 2011

So while my guest blogger embarks on her Moonwalk training I have finally kickstarted my training for the 2011 London Triathlon. This will be my first Olympic distance triathlon and I’ve realised I’ll need to make a serious effort in all disciplines, but especially the dreaded open water swimming, if I’m to make it to the finish line without crying. You can read about my first two weeks of training on the TT Rookies blog. I am part of the TT Rookies team, and we’re all taking part in the London Triathlon (sprint distance and Olympic distance) to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Cancer. Please add your donations to the link at the side of this blog. I need to raise £500 so it would be fab if you could give me some financial encouragement… I’ll be blogging here and on the TT Rookies site as the months go by. Any top tips from my readers?!
