Cycling Show comes to Glasgow
If you like cycling (of all kinds) then you’ll love this new event: The Scottish Bike Show 2011.
The Scottish Bike Show 2011 is being staged at the SECC, Glasgow, on Saturday and Sunday April 16 and 17 and for the first time ever the country’s growing cycling community – road, mountain bike, street trials, bmx, leisure riders and commuters – will have an all encompassing cycle show on their doorstep.
There’ll be tons to see and do including hundreds of brands selling bikes, gear and accessories, a central arena hosting-bmx and trials stunt displays, have-a-go bike test sessions, cycling organisations offering expert advice and awesome film footage of the Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup. Visitors can also find out about cycling events and cycling holidays.
Organiser Rowan Mackie, from Magdala Media, said: ‘The Scottish Bike Show is the first cycle show aimed at cyclists of all disciplines and skill levels to be staged in Scotland. I have been blown away by just how supportive Scotland’s cycling community has been in getting behind this new, exciting and interactive event. With all things two-wheeled under one roof it is shaping up to be a spectacular showcase for Scottish cycling.”
Tickets for The Scottish Bike Show are £7.50 adults, £5.50 kids and £20 for a family of 4 ticket – 2 adults, 2 kids if you book online
