Taking Leap Day in its more literal sense, a mountain biker from Perthshire made a leap by bungee jumping on his bike. Adam Flint pulled off the 40m Bungee on a Bike stunt at Tummel Bridge, Killiekrankie, descending into the wooded gorge of the River Garry. Highland Fling operates the bungee jump at Killiecrankie.

At the same time Adam was aiming to promote a a community-based organisation, Highland Perthshire Cycling, which works to enable more people to cycle more often in Highland Perthshire.

The highlight of the year is the Highland Perthshire Cycling Festival that will run from May 4 to 13.
