A friend and guest blogger Romy has told me about a few great running events organised by the Bellahouston Road Runners and taking place in Glasgow in the next few months. The Bella 10K (11am) and 5K (10am) take place on Sunday September 1. See Bella events. Meanwhile, the Jimmy Irvine Bella 10K takes place on Saturday November 9.

More about these Glasgow races

The races are all held within Bellahouston Park (the 10Ks are two laps). It’s a flat course, but has a lot of twists and turns. The events are also good for spectating.

Registration and refreshments are at the bowling club, and there are always fab cakes for refuelling afterwards.
