The Smartwool Tigh nam Bodach Ultra Run will take place in Glen Lyon, Perthshire on November 30, 2013. This event is a 50K route on rugged, remote trails. There are a few river crossings so expect to get wet feet (and maybe thighs!).

This inaugural event will be limited to 100 participants as an experimental race but it will be fully marshalled with aid stations. There will also be a Smartwool Sock Stationthat will provide a fresh pair of Merino socks half way round to ease cold, wet feet.

This ultra run is also part of the Inov8 Tri-Trail series so points will count towards the overall standings.

Race starts at first light, which is 8:30am. Catering will be provided by the race organisers and a special event T-shirt is included.
