Cycling, Munro bagging and swimming

Written by Fiona May 22 2014

As the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon looms scarily in the not too distant future I have been trying to squeeze in a bit of training. This is not easy when you have a full-time job, a teenager on exam study leave and many demands for writing about Scottish outdoors events. I will be doing the Quad with the G-Force and we have been training together as much as possible.

noname-16We have still not tried our hand at double kayaking (how many arguments will that cause?!) and open water swimming still seems way, way too chilly.

Mostly we have been Munro bagging and pool swimming with a few cycling and running sessions thrown in, too. I know we do a lot compared to many people but I still feel under-prepared for this all-in-one-day adventure event.

We still have a fund-raising goal to reach, too. Please do sponsor us if you can. Team FionaOutdoors.

Here are a few of the “training sessions” of recent weeks.
