Blind Dean paddles across Scotland

Written by Fiona

This is a wonderful film of Dean Dunbar, who despite being registered blind gets out and enjoys some amazing adventures in the great outdoors. This is a short film of him paddling on a SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) along the full 96km Caledonian Canal from the west coast to the east coast of Scotland.

The challenge took place over three days starting in Fort William and finished in Inverness. As well as documenting the trip, this film also explores the highs and lows for Dean as he lives with blindness and shows what people can achieve if they are willing to push their limits.

The film is by Dave Robson
