This year’s Women on Wheels event will be be bigger and better. A series of workshops and rides will take place over the weekend of June 13 and 14 and on June 21, 2015, as part of the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling. After the success of last year’s Women on Wheels, it has expanded for 2015 to include five events.
Sally Hinchcliffe, co-organiser of Women on Wheels, says: “Edinburgh women have been behind some of the most interesting developments in cycling in recent years, from cycle campaigns to sport.
“Whether your interest is campaigning, racing, family riding, cycle chic or just getting on your bike, come along to meet the women who are already making things happen. The chances are you will come away with new ideas and inspiration.”
