Have you tried?: Bike packing

Written by Fiona

Bike packing is the new trend in cycle touring and I am planning a couple of trips this summer. Instead of attaching a pannier rack and panniers to your bike, the new style of bags take the form of dry bags that fit integrally with your bike.

So, one bag attaches to the seat post and other bags sit beneath the top tube, on top of the top tube and on the front of the handlebars. They attach with Velcro straps. You can see what I mean from the main photo.  I will be testing and reviewing Apidura bags from Edinburgh Bicycle.

Read more about bike packing in my Sunday Mail article.
