The series of five Skimo – ski mountaineering – races launch again in Scotland next month. Skimo originates in the Alps and came to Scotland thanks to the direction and enthusiasm of mountaineer Di Gilbert in 2012. Since then the sport has been growing in participation here. Four resorts are involved, The Lecht, Glenshee, Glencoe and Nevis Range. This video by one of my fave associates, Morrocco Media, reveals the sport in Scotland in all its glory (and harsh reality)!
