Amazingly, 2016 is only weeks away and as soon as Christmas is over my guest writer Noah will be focusing on a year of outdoor sporting events.
On January 1, 2016, you can welcome the New year in with a meeting at Cheltenham. Including Cheltenham there are eight meetings with destinations including Catterick, Fakenham and even Exeter. You can check the latest horse racing odds at Betway and download the app so you can have a more informed 2016.
Away from horse racing, why not the 76th Hahnenkamm Ski event from January 19 to 24? The skiers will take on 80m jumps and travel at speeds of up to 140kph as the best in the world compete at this major tournament. The sport has moved on and is no longer the domain of Ski Sunday on Grandstand on the Beeb.
Why not consider the World Rally Championship? There is an event from January 22 to 24 at the iconic Monte-Carlo, where you can catch some of the fast moving drivers. Once again you can get all the latest news and odds at Betway. The UK event is in October so you have time to wait if you wish to see some UK-based action.
The cricket world keeps spinning and England’s tour of 2016 will be a prime event. The biggie events are the Olympics and the European Football Championships in France but the hype of these events can wait for now.
With so many live events in the UK and abroad you can be sure of an entertaining start to the New Year.
