Outdoors fans are being invited to enter their best summer photos into an Arc’teryx Piccadilly “Summer Alpinism” competition. There is £1,000 worth of Arc’teryx gear up for grabs and a chance to see your work displayed in the Arc’teryx European flagship store in London.

All you need to do is submit photos that say “alpinism” (in a generic sense) on Instagram or Facebook between June 1 and September 5 with the hashtag #arcteryxpiccadilly.

The lead judge of the competition is Terry Abrahams – a well-known outdoor photographer and videographer. Terry will select a shortlist of photos which will go on display in the store, and the winners will be announced at a special event on September 16.

On the same evening, the store will be hosting the London premiere of Terry’s new film, Life of a Mountain: Blencathra, as well as an exhibition of Terry’s prints.

Tickets are available in store or online at Arc’teryx Piccadilly Facebook page – facebook.com/arcteryxpiccadilly

Arc’teryx Piccadilly photo competition prizes

1st prize – £1,000 retail worth of Arc’teryx gear

2nd prize – £100 Arc’teryx gift card

3rd prize – £50 Arc’teryx gift card
