The new Salomon Drifter Mid Hoodie jacket offers versatility of looks and weather protection.
I am a big fan of jackets that offer two sides for different weather and warmth. One side of the Salomon Drifter Mid Hoodie protects against the wind to keep your warmer while the other is more breathable and allows more air to permeate the insulation for slightly less warmth.
Features of the Salomon Drifter Mid Hoodie:
- Advanced Skin Shield for wind and snow protection
- Advanced Skin Warm to regulate body temperature
- Active Fit
- 2 hand pockets
- 2 zipped pockets
- Hood
- Stretch cuffs
- Primaloft 60g
- Reversible
- Male and female designs
- Female medium: 430g
What I like about the jacket
It’s a useful mid-layer jacket for hill walking. I wear it as a standalone jacket or underneath a waterproof jacket when it is wet or very cold.
I like that it’s lightweight; versatile for different weather; fits well; lovely colour range; nice details, such as zipped pockets, soft cuffs and colour range.
There is very little not to like about this jacket although RRP £130 is perhaps a bit much.
