More Primal cycling kit

Written by Fiona

March 05 2017

I have written about Primal cycle wear before. I have been reviewing a few other items, some of which have made their way into my favourites list. Given how many items of kit I test and own if something makes it into my favourites drawer then it has to be good.

I have been testing:

Primal Airespan Sports Bra

Price £28

I love this bra ( have two now). It’s super comfy with no annoying seams and really useful for cycling. It will not offer masses of support for larger breasted ladies and it’s not the bra of choice for runners but for cycling and more low impact sports it’s superb.

It dries really quickly when I get sweaty and has not lost its support after many washing cycles.

The colours fad a bit but it’s a bra, after all, so that’s normal.

Primal Purple Star Arm Warmers

Price: £20

These are my number one favourite arm warmers. I love the fit, length, comfort and, above all, the look. I’ve had many positive remarks about the arm warmers.

They have a slightly fleecy back to them so they are perfect for cooler days when cycling.

I think they are a great price at £20.

Primal Knock Out Socks

Price £8

These socks are fantastic. (I only wish I had the arm warmers to match!). The colours are brilliant and they are a nice height. I have started to see a couple of holes forming where my toes nails push through but I have worn these socks over and over and they still look fab.

Primal Bokeh L/S Heavy Weight Jacket

£60

A lovely long-sleeved jersey. It felt a little large on me despite ordering the small but it fits nicely over various other layers. It has a fleecy inner to the fabric that is great for cooler days.

There are three useful rear pockets and a full-length zip. I would prefer brighter colours and this style seems bit muted but there are other designs to choose from.

£60 is a pretty good price for a good quality long-sleeved cycle jersey.

Overall Primal make high quality and reasonably priced cycle clothing. I love many of the brightly coloured designs. As I said, Primal is a favourite of mine.

See Primal.
