This summer, Scottish LEGO fans can visit the must-see LEGO Brick City exhibition at New Lanark World Heritage Site.
LEGO Brick City will be at the Scottish visitor attraction, near the town of Lanark, from June 28 to August 9, 2017, from 10am to 5pm.
Brick City is a celebration of some of the world’s favourite buildings and urban icons, including the Colosseum in Rome, St Pancras Station in London and L’Arc De Triomphe in Paris. They have been recreated solely using LEGO Bricks and designed by professional LEGO Brick artist Warren Elsmore.
The exhibition will include a display of more than 60 fantastic models made from an estimated half-a-million LEGO Bricks.
Displays include NY Macy’s Parade.
How to visit the Brick City Exhibition
June 28 to August 7, 10am to 5pm with last entry at 4pm. Note that on the following dates the exhibition will be open 11am to 5pm: June 29, July 6, 12 and 25 and August 3.

Self-led Play Area
Where visitors will be able to have fun building their own LEGO creations within a set session time.
LEGO Robotics Workshops
Where visitors can try the latest LEGO robotics technology to build and programme creatures that can move using motors, gears and wheels.
The 30-minute sessions take place on July 11, 18, 25 and August 1 at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:00 and 15:00. The cost is £10 per station, which caters for a group of up to four people. (Robotics Workshop tickets do not include entry to the Brick City exhibition.)
Accessible Brick City sessions
These quiet and sensory friendly sessions will not be open to the general public, however extended families of children with autism are most welcome to join as part of a group.
These sessions are suitable for visitors with autism and additional support requirements. There is a very limited capacity so tickets must be booked in advance and as soon as possible.
The sessions take place on July 13 and August 3, from 9am to 11am.

New Lanark World Heritage Site
Historic New Lanark mills.
New Lanark World Heritage Site is a great place to visit in itself. The former 18th century cotton spinning mill village, founded by David Dale and Richard Arkwright, is located on the banks of the Falls of Clyde within an hour’s drive of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
It gained international fame under the enlightened management of Robert Owen and was a successful spinning centre until its closure in 1968.
New Lanark village is now owned and operated by the charity, New Lanark Trust, and is a popular visitor attraction.
Today it is recognised as one of Scotland’s six UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
