A helicopter ride into the Grand canyon offers superb clarity as to the sheer scale and magnificence of this natural wonder. The helicopter ride to the base of the Grand Canyon and then back up again, after a boat trip along the Colorado River, was part of a fantastic day’s tour from Phoenix with Westwind Air Service.
