When a journalist friend asked if she could tell our story of getting engaged and married while on holiday on the Powder Highway, British Columbia, Canada, in a Scottish newspaper I was somewhat bemused. I knew it was a fun and entertaining story, but I didn’t imagine it was that interesting to anyone who doesn’t know us.
But Elaine said the Sunday Post loved the story and that is how my new husband and I ended up on Page 2 and 3 of yesterday’s newspaper.
I think Elaine and the Sunday Post have done us proud. The newspaper cutting will also be a great keep-sake for years to come.
