Scottish outdoors, cycling and running show returns to Glasgow

Organisers are promising a bigger and better Scottish Cycling, Running and Outdoor
Pursuits Show (SCROPS) in 2019.

Many local people were disappointed when the action-packed event, which takes place at Glasgow’s SEC, was unavoidably cancelled last year due to bad weather caused by the Beast from the East.

Tickets have now gone on sale for the show from March 2 to 3 with a 20% discount for pre-booking. If you purchased a ticket last year, it will be honoured in 2019.

Julia Girvan, of organiser PSP Media Group, said: “We were just as disappointed with last year’s unfortunate cancellation as our customers were, but we’ve spent the last 12 months making sure that our 2019 show comes back bigger and better than ever before.

“We’ve got a great mix of new and interactive features plus more big brands than ever before. It’s shaping up to be our best show yet.”

Great line up for SCROPS in 2019

SCROPS will feature some great celebrity guest speakers, a host of top brands and more than 20 fun and interactive challenges to suit all abilities.

New for 2019 is a Gladiator-style Travelator, Tacx Turbo Challenge, a 60m indoor zip line plus an improved Triathlon Challenge.

Visitors can also enjoy indoor cycling and running Tracks, an e-mountain bike track, a Kids’ Action Zone, a climbing wall and an indoor segway track.

There are some top prizes to be won, including a place at the 2019 Berlin Marathon.

Tickets starting from £12 and kids under-10 are free. If you purchased a ticket last year, PSP Media will have been in touch to tell you how to validate it for this year.
