Wearable tech brand launches Clip & Go power bank kickstarter

Specialists in anti-tangle headphones, WRAPS, has launched an innovative new product range to change the way people charge their devices and listen to music on the go. The wearable technology company launches a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter today to support the Clip & Go range.

The new Clip & Go range comprises three products:

  • A power bank
  • Bluetooth speaker
  • Emergency charging cables.

The three-in-one bundle are each wearable. They are small enough to clip on to clothing or bags, which means they are easy to carry around with you. They are ideal for commuting, camping, hiking, cycling, travel etc.

See kickstarter project.

My problem with portable device chargers is that I so often forget to take mine with me. Or else, I forget to charge them up. I like the idea of a really small and simple charger that I can clip into my jacket or a rucksack so I always know where it is.

Having it with me most of the time, I imagine I will be more likely to recharge it as a matter of course each evening.

The three-in-one bundle also has a small speaker and charging cables (I don’t know how many times I have gone out without cables so even if I have a charger with me and it is charged up I don’t have a cable to use with it. Grrr.)

So, all in all, the Clip & Go products seem like a great idea.

Indeed, a spokesperson for the company said: “The Clip ’n go products offer a seamless and ergonomic experience for those that wish to listen to music and use their devices on the go and without running out of charge.”

Clip & Go product features

Three in one

Clip & Go power bank is a lightweight, portable design and packs an impressive 5000 mAh power. This offers the capacity for at least one full charge.

The easy clip design allows users to attach it to their personal belongings so it will never be forgotten.

The POD: WRAPS’ stylish portable Bluetooth speaker has been branded as The POD. Despite being small and convenient, the WRAPS POD offers outstanding sound quality, providing quick access to music on the go.

The True Wireless Stereo (TWS) feature means the POD can be paired to a second POD.

The Clip & Go emergency power cables are available as both USB type C and lightning connector versions.

The power cables are Apple certified meaning that the products and packaging pass all high standards that are set by Apple themselves.

New product kickstarter

Emma Longdon, head of online business at WRAPS, said: “We are really excited to be launching the Clip & Go range.

“The power bank, Bluetooth speaker and emergency charge cables are a great addition to our portfolio and are something our customers will really enjoy and benefit from.

“Being able to charge your devices remotely is something that many consumers are depending on as technology is constantly developing.

“We wanted to create and manufacture a range of products that challenge the perceptions of wearable tech, making everyday usability easier, without compromising audio quality.”

The WRAPS Clip & Go product range will launch on Kickstarter from today and lasts until April 6.
