Pros: What’s good about the CamelBak Thrive™ Chug 32oz Bottle with Tritan™ Renew

Easy to drink from. Anyone who is considering this bottle is most likely going to choose this one over a host of other options because of the ease of drinking. The cap is simple to get on and off. The soft spout allows you to have a full sized water bottle, which is still easy to fill and clean, but not have to worry about pouring it all down your front when you open it while on the trail, in the car, or on a treadmill. You don’t have to choose between the ease of a wide mouth opening for filling ice and powders, and the ease of drinking from a smaller opening. You can have both.

Easy to clean. I toss the bottle in the dishwasher regularly as it has been on multi-day hikes, long road trips, and many flights.

Easy to carry. The handle is a great option for when you want to attach it to a backpack, or hold it in your hand.

Easy on the environment. As always, CamelBak seeks to limit the impact of their products on the environment by making sure they used recycled materials when able and then making them durable so you have to replace them less frequently.

Cons: What’s not so good about the CamelBak Thrive™ Chug 32oz Bottle with Tritan™ Renew

Some have mentioned that the soft spout gets mouldy quickly. I have not experienced that. Either way, it is dishwasher safe, as well as easy to manually wash it with a sponge or brush.

The Tritan Renew is not insulated. If you want an insulated one, they do have the stainless steel option.

Conclusion

There are so many options to choose from when it comes to water bottles. This is a good one. It has already replaced a couple others in our household. If you want a bottle that is easy to carry, easy to clean, and easy to drink from, this is a great option.
