Aquapac have launched a 100 per cent waterproof waist pack to protect your essential kit during sports and outdoor activities. The Aquapac waterproof waist pack is made with the brand’s tried and tested waterproof fabric. I know it works because I have several packs that have worked well to keep out heavy rain and an under-water dunking.

The pack holds three litres of kit and has a rolltop opening and closure. Once items are inside you close the two sides of fabric together and roll them over. This is then secured with two side straps.
An outside zipped pocket offers another area for stowing items that you might want easier access to.
I like the size of the pack. I managed to fit in a couple of jackets (one a lightweight insulated jacket and another was a waterproof jacket) as well as my spare glasses, a bank card and a pair of gloves.
The outer pocket is large enough to fit an iPhone 6 plus phone (in a case), dog poo bags and money.

The rolltop is a bit of a fiddle each time you want to get things in and out of the pack but it is a vey secure way to keep water out.
The waiststrap is easily adjusted to suit different waist sizes and the pack, even when full, did not annoy me as I walked.
You could also use the pack for skiing, stand-up paddle boarding and mountain biking, or any activity that requires a small and waterproof bag.
