Sir Chris Hoy at Scottish Bike Show

The Scottish Bike Show returns to Glasgow this weekend with a visit from cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy. Scotland’s consumer cycle show takes place on Saturday and Sunday April 5 and 6 at the Emirates Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

The event promises is a top line up of independent bike shops, distributors and big name manufacturers exhibiting and selling a wide range of the latest bikes, cycle gear and clothing and accessories. 

In addition there are some great cycle features to keep the  family entertained including:

  • The Clan Stunt Team
  • Rollapaluza, the latest cycling phenomenon to hit the UK.
  • The SBS Theatre with a  programme of interactive workshops, demos and talks by cycling experts, enthusiasts and manufacturers.
  • Sir Chris Hoy will be at the show on Saturday to promote his new bike brand, Hoy. He will be taking part in a Q & A session and an autograph signing session.
  •  The AirBag! will also give riders a chance to get “big air” and fall into a massive pillow.
  • The Bike Radar Bike Fit Studio

Organiser Rowan Mackie, from Magdala Media, said:   “We are  excited about this year’s Scottish Bike Show.  We have some amazing entertainment for all the family with everything from the jaw dropping Clan cycle display team to an expanded pump track to Sir Chris Hoy’s appearance in the Scottish Bike Show Theatre and loads of competitions and challenges. This is a show for all cyclists of all ages, disciplines and skill levels.”
