This Sunday Mail article is poignant after spending the day at the Glasgow 2014 mountain biking event at Cathkin Braes. It was published a couple of weeks ago and I have been too busy (mainly being at the Games events!) to post it here.

I found out, during a mountain bike skills session at Glenmore Lodge that I will never be good enough to keep up with the top mtb’ing girls and guys but that I am capable of going faster without falling off if I practise what I was taught.
