First time bagging of Ben Lui

Written by Fiona

March 24 2015

I blogged last week about bagging the Munro Ben Lui with Supper Bagger Tansy. During the walk I recalled the first time I hiked this mountain with the G-Force. It was around four years ago and there was even more snow to overcome.

That day we also bagged the neighbouring Munro Beinn a’Chleibh (see the route on WalkHighlands). Many people prefer to walk Munros only once as they aim to compleat their first round but I really don’t mind at all if there is a beautiful day and great company for a second bag.

These photos bring back great memories of a fabulous but challenging walk.
