Sunshine (in contrast) on a Corbett: Sgorr na Diollaid

After Saturday’s wet and windy four Munros hike at Loch Mallardoch, I awoke on Sunday to beautiful sunshine.  My friend Lesley and I decided to join Ruth and Robert, of Deeside Hillwalking Club, for a short-ish hike to the summit of a nearby Corbett, Sgorr na Diollaid.

I am so pleased that we did. Although we had tired legs it was fantastic to walk in warm sunshine and almost no wind. The views from this peak are spectacular and we could easily see the ridge that we had hiked the previous day. IMG_6214

The photos show the contrast in weather conditions!
