The inaugural Brazin’ The Scottish Handbuilt Bicycle Show 2023 takes place at Civic House in Glasgow on Saturday August 5, from noon to 5pm.
Cycling enthusiasts can meet a variety of leading frame builders and bicycle accessory makers, while also discovering the best of Scotland’s bicycle industry.
If you have ever wanted to know more about hand-built bicycles there will be an array of quality craft, contrasting styles, from traditional to contemporary, all under one roof. All the exhibitors have a reputation for excellence and the Brazin’ show gives the public a chance to discover well-known frame builders and new brands side by side.
The show also includes a collection of vintage Flying Scot bicycles, which were custom-made in Glasgow in an era when every keen cyclist aspired to owning their own bespoke machine with flamboyant custom paint and personalised fittings.
One of the organisers, Richard Andrews, said: “Whether you are just a fan of beautiful bikes, want to keep up with what’s happening or your re considering a hand-built bike of your own, this is an unmissable event.”
The show coincides with the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships, which is being hosted in and around Glasgow.
