Keela Outdoors has announced a collaboration with National Trust for Scotland for an initiative that is described as a “blend of storytelling, sustainability and Scotland’s wildest beauty”.
Inspired by the wild natural places in the conservation charity’s care, the partnership will celebrate Scotland’s most dramatic landscapes and historic places, as well as the people who protect them. There will be an associated collection of Keela apparel.
The outdoor collection theme is “Where Nature Leads”. Designs for clothing items are inspired by environments that define Scotland’s landscapes, from Glencoe to St Kilda.
Keela and NTS share a commitment to equip people for adventures and to protect the land that inspires it.
Sam Fernando, sales director at Keela Outdoors, said: “Scotland’s wild places have always inspired what we do at Keela. Our partnership with National Trust for Scotland is rooted in many shared values including performance, protection and commitment to giving back.
“Where Nature Leads is about celebrating the environments that shape our adventures, while helping to protect them for future generations. It captures the spirit of exploration and responsibility and we’re incredibly excited to see people wear that story wherever their adventures take them.”
Caroline Reid, director of commercial enterprises at the National Trust for Scotland, said: “The National Trust for Scotland is privileged to care for so many places that motivate people to explore and spend time out in nature.
“We are excited to be working with one of Scotland’s top outdoor brands to help more people enjoy all that our amazing country has to offer.”
Every purchase of the products, including T-shirts, supports the National Trust for Scotland’s mission to conserve Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage.
The collection will be available from March 16 at Keela Outdoors, NTS shop and and selected NTS retailers.
