Fit Over 50 video: Lockdown Hunter Fit circuits sessions

I am almost 52 and while I might not be faster or slimmer in the future, I am aiming to be stronger.

All-over-body muscle strength is such an important part of staying fit as we grow older.

For women, in particular, muscle loss can be significant – and depressing – but by doing regular strength sessions you can aim to maintain and improve your muscles.

I definitely feel stronger than I was in my 40s. I also love the challenge of circuits sessions and the enthusiasm of the Hunter Fit instructor, Matt Hunter.

Normally, I attend one session a week in Bearsden but during Lockdown I have benefitted from doing 3 workouts each week.

Here’s a video to give you a taster of some of the exercises we do. It varies every session and we alwys have a warm-up and cool-down.
